Northern Alberta prairie
My Story

Hello, I'm Sarah.

I am truly grateful you are here.

For years, I built a life in the oil and gas industry. As a single mother of three, I never imagined how much my path would change when I met a farmer from Northern Alberta.

Everything shifted

The land, the seasons, the quiet rhythm of farming awakened something in me I did not know was waiting. The first time I stepped onto the land, beneath the vast prairie sky, I felt both humbled and deeply at peace. It felt as though the earth itself was calling me home.

I knew I was meant to be part of this life.

Then life changed again

My love became critically ill. What followed was a journey from near death back to life, a second chance we do not take lightly. In that season, I immersed myself in learning about healing, especially the microbiome, and how deeply our gut health shapes our immunity, resilience, and overall well being. I came to understand that wheat itself is not the enemy. More often, the issue lies in how it is grown and processed. Glyphosate use, depleted soil, and high speed roller milling strip away the grain's natural nourishment and integrity.

If the soil is compromised, the crop is compromised.

If the grain is stripped, the nourishment is stripped.

I started baking sourdough, choosing local honey over refined sugars, and canning our own produce. What began as a necessity became something deeper, a return to a simpler way of living, rooted in the basics of real food. I fell in love with the European approach to food, where fewer ingredients and greater intention create something truly nourishing, and where food is respected not for convenience, but for the life it sustains.

In that simplicity, I found clarity. In those daily practices, I found meaning.

Eventually, I stepped away from the corporate world to follow what had been quietly growing in my heart.

After years of research, reflection, and lived experience, I invested in a stone mill from the Ukraine.

Stone milling preserves the full integrity of the grain, including the bran, germ, and natural oils, supporting a healthy microbiome in the way nature intended. It does not strip the grain for efficiency. It honours the nourishment that has always been there.

The Land

Our family has cared for this Northern Alberta land for generations.

We rise with the light, plant with intention, and harvest with gratitude. For us, farming is stewardship, a responsibility to care for the earth so it can continue to care for those who depend on it.

Stone milling is simply the next chapter in our story, carried forward with the same values, integrity, transparency, and a deep commitment to nourishing families from farm to table.

Everything we do is rooted in heritage, grounded in heart, and guided by a quiet gratitude for the land that feeds us.
