Northern Alberta, Family Owned

Rooted in Heritage. Grounded in Heart

Welcome to Grounded Grain Stone Mill, where the rhythm of the land guides everything we do.

We are a family-owned farm and stone mill rooted in the soil of Northern Alberta. For generations, our hands have worked this earth with gratitude, growing, and harvesting with integrity and intention. We believe the land is not owned, but cared for, and that the food that sustains us begins with healthy soil, patient stewardship, and deep respect for Mother Earth.

From prairie fields to your table, our flour carries the story of where it was grown and the care with which it was milled. This is our way of honouring the earth that feeds us, returning to simple, honest ingredients and bringing nourishment back to its roots.

Our Philosophy

We do not over process, we do not rush.

We allow the grain to remain whole, just as nature intended. For those care deeply about what feeds their families and communities, our flour offers a return to the essentials.

Our flour is grown on our land and stone milled in small batches, preserving the natural strength, nutrition, and spirit of the grain.

Our Heritage

Born of the Prairie, Guided by the Land

We are a continuation of prairie families who understood that food begins long before it reaches a kitchen. It begins in living soil, in careful stewardship, in patience, and in listening to the quiet needs of the land. Stone milling allows us to honour that beginning. We grind our grain slowly and whole, preserving the strength and nourishment held within each berry. Nothing added, nothing taken away. Only wheat, grown beneath open northern skies and milled with intention. There is something deeply sacred in the transformation of grain into flour. It is a bridge between field and farmhouse, farmer and family, earth and table, a reminder that nourishment is not manufactured, but cultivated.
